An old horse barn was repurposed into a two bedroom, 1 bathroom home. Designed and built in under 3 months by Earth Home Design. The before picture in the carousel below provides an appreciation of what existed on site prior to the refurbishment and native garden design. The project used 80% recycled materials by way of timber and corrugated iron sheets. Large double glazed windows, recycled from commercial buildings, were used on the northern face to invite solar gains.
